Sue Boedeker, owner
I started Valley Virtual Assistance to offer administrative assistance to small or home-based businesses and entrepreneurs who need reliable help but don't want the expense or headaches of a full-time employee or a temporary worker.
With over twenty years of experience supporting executives in both large and small companies — from American Express to a private equity company to a small, family-owned winery — I have acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience from which to draw.
I am constantly learning new skills in order to offer services that are relevant to my clients. Having seen a need for support in the areas of social media for business I become a certified Internet Marketing Virtual Assistant and a certified Social Media Specialist. I take a keen interest in the success of my clients' businesses and enjoy the ongoing relationships I build with my clients.
My skill base includes social media support, Website development, Powerpoint presentations, audio transcription, copy editing, desktop publishing, proofreading, word processing, and much more.
I am honored to serve both as a board member and board secretary of the Wilmette Chamber of Commerce.
Born in England, raised in Ireland and now living in the Chicago suburb of Northfield, my interests include genealogy, cooking and travel. I started my business while living in Green Valley, California, hence the Valley in the name.
I admit it: I am a small business — and I like it that way.
